EVANGELIZATION COMMISSION

Evangelization is the work of the entire parish. Guided by a parish vision of a Christ-centered parish and by a spirit on inclusive partnership, the Commission strives to create a welcoming attitude in the parish and to serve our neighbors throughout our 500 square miles as graciously as we can in witness to Christ.

Working with existing Committees and commissions they have been involved in establishing the role of greeter at weekend liturgies as well as coordinating and follow-up of new registrations. The Evangelization Commission developed a Ministry of Prayer that enables the homebound to feel connected to the parish. The Sunshine Committee reaches out to the parish at various moments in peoples lives. As the parish continues its efforts to be Good News, the Evangelization Commission cooperates with all other Parish Commissions and Committees to become ever more welcoming witnesses to the gospel.
