The Sacraments of the Church that call us ever closer to God, are as always,
an outward sign of our Christianity instituted by Christ to give us grace and
the inner knowledge to live our Christian faith fruitfully.
SACRAMENTS of INITIATION
BAPTISM of CHILDREN
Parents participate in pre-baptism sessions prior to the child's baptism.
BAPTISM of ADULTS (RCIA)
If you or someone you know is interested in learning about the Church and the Catholic faith, contact a member of the Pastoral Staff.
FIRST COMMUNION
This is a family centered program in which parents participate in the
child's preparation. It is celebrated with the family after the child has completed sacramental preparation.
CONFIRMATION
Celebrated every other year during high school years following two years of preparation.
SACRAMENTS of HEALING
RECONCILIATION / CONFESSION
Individual Confession is by appointment and also on announced days. Communal celebrations are scheduled throughout the year. Consult the bulletin or the parish website for dates and times.
ANOINTING of the SICK
The Annointing of the Sick is celebrated upon request. Please notify the pastoral team if anyone is sick or hospitalized. Annointing of the Sick is also celebrated at selected weekend liturgies twice a year.
SACRAMENTS of LOVING SERVICE

MARRIAGE
Members of our parish planning to be married at Our Lady Help of Christians should contact a member of the pastoral team at least six months prior to the wedding date.
HOLY ORDERS
Contact a member of the pastoral team for information about the priesthood or deaconate. We will also provide information about vowed life for both women and men, and lay pastoral ministry opportunities.
